After leaving his train in the MOW house track at McCarr, 98J returns light to Williamson with a solo SD40-2.

An eastbound local passes a pair of ex-N&W CPL signals about 10 miles east of Bluefield. This local has a small cut of cars bound for Celco.

At the end of the workday 98J backs into the Lick Fork Spur to tie down for the night. It will tie on the crane behind for use dropping track materials the next day.

With a salute from the cab, a fast freight passes worktrain 98J on the Pokey not far from the Cedar Welcome Center.
